The Kitsune.
A small Japanese fox, and the spirit we built FiFixU around. Here's the brief story of why.

In Japanese folklore, the kitsune is a fox spirit, patient, observant, said to grow wiser with each century, gaining a new tail until she carries nine. The oldest are silver-furred and almost myth, advisors to the goddess Inari, who tends harvest, craftsmanship, and the careful work of making things grow.
Kitsune are shapeshifters, but the lore is careful about it: they don't change to deceive. They change to fit, to walk beside the humans they choose, in whatever form the moment calls for. A scholar's robe today, traveling clothes tomorrow.
They're famously selective. A kitsune doesn't bond with everyone she meets. But once she does, she stays, sometimes for a single season, sometimes for a lifetime, sometimes (the older stories say) longer.
Style is a long conversation. We needed a mascot who knew how to listen.
Discernment.
A kitsune sees the shape of a person before the surface. FiFi notices the cuts you reach for in the morning, the colors that quietly suit you, and the ones that don't, no matter how often they trend.
Shapeshifting.
Your style isn't fixed. A weekday is not a wedding. A kitsune changes form to meet the moment, and FiFi pulls together looks that move with you, instead of asking you to commit to a single self.
Loyalty.
Once a kitsune chooses you, she stays. FiFi isn't a one-night stylist. The longer she's with you, the better the recommendations get, taste, refined slowly, the way taste actually forms.
